Manchester Travel Massive will be returning for the first event of the year on 6th April at the fantastic Hold Fast Bar in Northern Quarter..
We're delighted to be partnering with Ideal South America for this event. Ideal South America specialises in customized, private tour programs to South America -- Machu Picchu, Galapagos, Iguazu, Rio, Patagonia, etc.
April's theme is Digital and our official hashtag is #TMDigital.
The event will kick off at the usual time of 7:30pm and a mix of Manchester's finest travel industry folks - from PRs to bloggers, big brands, start-ups and travel industry representatives will mingle and network for the evening in our own private room.
Evening will start with a speed networking session. Each person will have 5 minutes to pitch their business and story to the person in front of them. Make sure you have your elevator pitch nailed down.
After the speed networking we have a panel of two digital experts moderated by Rodica Maria Lazar (Senior Content Marketer and travel blogger).
Panellists:
Mark Bratt is the founder of Wandering Duck Canal Boat Tours, winner of Manchester's "Tourism Experience of the Year". Having built the concept and drawn a loyal following, Mark sold the business last year to set up a travel agency. Previously he has worked for some of the UK's top Tour Operators. He's interested in how travel companies integrate digital channels into their more traditional business models.
Stephen Murphy is the Group Account Director at Latitude Digital Marketing, an international digital agency owned by Callcredit Information Group. He's worked in digital for 9 years. His experience managing big brand accounts like Haven Holidays, Trafalgar Travel and Hilton UAE will help answer all your questions on digital marketing.
