About this event

We're excited to offer a (free) Design Thinking workshop with our community member Nicole Cogiel on September 25!

-- Doors open at 18:30 and the workshop will begin promptly at 19:00 --

🎊 About the Workshop:

This “Design Thinking Fast Forward” workshop (3-hours) will introduce you to the process, tools and mindset of Design Thinking. Working on a touristic challenge, you will dive into the art of sensing, experiencing problems with great curiosity and empathy.

You will learn user-centricity, radical thinking and fast experimentation. Your creative potential and confidence will be unlocked and you will get to know more about the Design Thinking method in a hands-on and interactive experience.

🙋‍♀️ About Nicole:

Nicole believes that through deeply rooted design thinking and being creative with the design methods you use, you will get the best results for your products, services and strategies.

Nicole’s deep experience as a strategist for the tourism industry is easily translated through her energy and passion to help to turn great ideas into reality.

She designs strategies, business models and value propositions for organizations of all sizes across all tourism industries. Before her journey as a freelance creative strategist, she held positions in product development and management with Hamburg Tourism and visitBerlin. Prior to that, she worked on many industry projects for PROJECT M, a strategic consultancy for tourism and destination development, in addition to teaching tourism management.

She is an advocator with free spirit who encourages and guides people to find new ways of doing things for better results and human-centered innovations.

Nicole holds a Magister in Tourism Geography, Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Trier as well as professional certifications in project management (IPMA), Scrum, Design Thinking and Non-Violent Communication.
