After graduating from the B.A. in International Tourism and Event Management in Berlin, I have lived in several countries throughout Europe working in the tourism and hospitality industry. Through my experience within and insights into the discipline, I have decided to complete a part-time Masters course in Responsible Tourism Management at Leeds Beckett University.

Being driven by and being passionate about different cultures and languages, I find communication and the exchange of new ideas to be essential. Inspired and led by people I have met in recent years from different countries, I am convinced that effective communication and storytelling are imperative when it comes to making a change towards a more responsible and sustainable future. I am a native German speaker, and am also fluent in English and French. My linguistic skills have helped me to thoroughly understand cultures different to my own.

I hope to inspire people, communities and industries in the way I have been inspired by others. I believe that the tourism and hospitality industry has a responsibility to make a positive contribution to society and the environment.
