My name is Lee-Anne, Director at the Singer Group. I have over 29 years’ experience & I focus on business development. Along with my team, we are responsible for driving revenue & marketing for our brands. I encourage my team to be bold & innovative - an approach that sees us redefine the way South Africans buy, sell & pay for tourism experiences.
I serve as Chairperson of FEDHASA Cape. FEDHASA is the official representative body of South African hospitality. I am also part of the dynamic Cape Town Tourism board. I serve as Tourism Portfolio Committee Chair for the Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where my role includes shaping the policies related to the industry in the Cape.
I am often invited to speak at conferences, contribute on panels & host workshops. Topics range from tourism & hospitality marketing, tourism technology, business development, tourism leadership, skills development & gender empowerment. Highlights include speaking at the International Travel Tech Conference in Tel Aviv, hosting several panels at World Travel Market & more recently speaking at Istanbul Tourism Fair.
A career-defining moment was winning ‘Western Cape Positive Role Model’ in the Gender Mainstreaming Awards. This award epitomises the core of my professional journey: a passion for connecting people, fostering relationships, & enabling collective success. I consider my ability to bring individuals together, share insights, & freely impart my gifts as one of my greatest strengths.
