I am a travel writer/blogger/photographer as well as the author of several guide books to the National Capital Region of Canada, Quebec, and Gatineau Park. I am happiest in the wild, where I enjoy rugged horseback riding expeditions, canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing. However, I'm mercurial: although I love Nature and live on an organic farm in rural Quebec -- I also thoroughly enjoy the buzz of urban life. So I'm happy exploring "the unusual in the usual" -- intriguing/funky museums, experiencing adventures in cities. I am also a visual artist who is keen on visiting galleries and creative spaces.
