I’m Josh. I’ve been travelling full time for years and somewhere along the way I ended up building BudgetBro, a budgeting app made for people who actually live on the road, not just take two-week holidays.

For a long time my entire financial system was spreadsheets, notes, and guesswork. Everything I tried felt built for short trips or corporate travel, not backpacking, long stays, border runs, or figuring out how long your money will actually last. After years of dealing with that, it became pretty clear there was a gap. So instead of complaining about it, I decided to build what I wished existed.

Right now I’m in the middle of launching BudgetBro while still travelling, figuring things out as I go and sharing the real behind-the-scenes of building a startup on the road. I’m interested in travel tech, community-driven ideas, and being honest about what this lifestyle is really like. The good parts, the stressful parts, and the chaos in between.
