I’m Josh, a full-time traveller and the founder of BudgetBro: a budgeting app that’s part of a wider ecosystem built to cover the real, day-to-day needs of travellers.

After years of travelling with nothing but spreadsheets to track my money, it became obvious that most tools weren’t designed for how backpackers and independent travellers actually live. They worked for short trips, not real travel. That gap is what pushed me to build something better.

I’m currently deep in the process of launching BudgetBro while still travelling and sharing the behind-the-scenes reality of building a travel startup. Interested in travel tech, community-driven platforms, and honest conversations about life on the road: the good, the chaotic, and everything in between.
