Hi there, I’m Jason, an early-stage investor, community builder, and global citizen based in Southeast Asia.

I help businesses grow and succeed in emerging markets—places where economies are expanding quickly and new consumer needs are emerging fast. I focus on how companies can effectively launch, adapt, and scale in these fast-changing environments.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of organizations in different roles, including YouTube, Techstars, Tencent, the PGA of America, Diageo, Audi AG, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Samsung Electronics, Vail Resorts, Lazada, Türk Telekom, and others.

At Garden District Ventures, we invest in founders who are reimagining how more than two billion-plus new consumers in Emerging Asia will eat, shop, move, and live in the years ahead. We focus on post-revenue companies working in food tech, health and wellness, supply chains, the built environment, and other high-impact sectors.

Beyond work, I’m deeply committed to causes including cancer survivorship, global hunger and homelessness, social justice, and environmental sustainability. I love skiing, kayaking, camping, craft beer, listening to brass bands, and reading everything I can get my hands on. Having traveled to and spent time in 58 countries, I find endless inspiration in people and places.
