Hello, I’m Jason, an early-stage investor, community builder, commentator, and all-around business development nerd living and working between Southeast Asia and the U.S.

My career is oriented around the global economic shift from developed nations to emerging economies and how I can help businesses launch, grow, adapt, and scale.

Over the past 20 years, I'm pleased to have had the good fortune to work alongside and contribute to a diverse group of organizations in a variety of roles: YouTube, Tencent, PGA of America, Seedstars, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Diageo, Audi AG, Samsung Electronics, Vail Resorts, Unum, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and others.

Today, I'm the Managing Partner at Garden District Ventures, a consumptive-thematic venture capital fund that invests across sectors and geographies, primarily in Southeast Asia. We back ambitious founders who can anticipate and capitalize on long-lasting changes in consumer behavior—digital adoption, changing socio-economic trends, the future of work, urbanization, and the disruption of global supply chains.

Outside of work, I'm deeply focused on supporting causes including cancer survivorship, global hunger and homelessness, microfinance, social justice, and the environment. I love skiing, kayaking, camping, craft beer, listening to brass bands, and reading everything I can get my hands on. To date, I have traveled and spent time in 40+ countries and draw countless inspiration from people and places.
