As a local, I am passionate about Transylvania and the Eastern Carpathians, so after 1 year studying in the Netherlands and 6 years work in coporate finance in Bucharest, I decided to return home to setup an inbound touroperator together with a group of local enthusiasts. Our beloved project, Carpathian Escapes is a fully bonded travel agency based in the heart of the Eastern Carpathians, in Miercurea Ciuc. We are specialized in providing all sorts of cultural and outdoor activities, ranging from half-day adventures to multi-day trips that are a well-balanced mixture of nature exploration, physical activities and cultural experiences.
