I love to talk travel, both my own experiences and to learn about other's. I've been a freelance writing covering arts and culture in the Denver community for the past five years, and am now living in Portland and looking to expand my expertise to this wonderful city. When I travel, I look for off-the-beaten path, nature (hiking and camping), dive bars, coffee and dogs.

What is your favorite travel destination?

Anywhere outdoors, but the Colorado Rockies have a special place in my heart.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

Most of my hiking dreams revolve around hiking. I'd love to hike the Mont Blanc trail one day, and the John Muir trail.
