Welcome to a slice of my world—a world woven from rich cultural roots, fuelled by an unending thirst for discovery, and held together by the joy of connection. I’m Sugar, a London girl born to Nigerian parents and raised in the vibrant embrace of a Jamaican family. You could say I’m a bit of a cultural cocktail, and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

It was in 2015 that I first dipped my toes into the exhilarating world of solo travel. That year, I boarded a flight to Greece with no real plan, just an open heart and a curious mind. Little did I know, this trip would ignite a fire in me, a boundless passion for exploring new places and weaving the experiences into my life. Since then, I’ve journeyed through 22 countries across four continents, each stop enriching my view of the world and etching colourful memories into my soul.

Living through the changes and challenges of foster care taught me resilience and the art of adaptability—two qualities that have become my closest travel companions. Whether wandering through Marrakech’s lively markets or finding serenity on the beaches of Bali, I've learned that every place has a story, and I love connecting with the people behind these stories. It’s become something of a superpower, this ability to truly listen and learn from others, and it’s the heart of what I want to share.
