I am an American writer/editor who found love in Vienna, Austria, and home in County Kerry, Ireland. As a travel writer, I focus on the culture, food, history and nature of the places where I live and visit.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

I want to travel to the Hanseatic cities (Lübeck, Gdansk, Riga, Tallinn) by train.

What was your first travel job?

Teaching English as a second language as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kabul, Afghanistan

What do you want to learn more about?

Since rewilding our garden in Ireland, my husband and I have become so aware of the plants, birds, butterflies and insects that thrive within it. This has sparked an interest within me to learn more about how to identify, harvest and use native plants around the world for health and healing.
