Travellers write about their trips in their own language, and every story ends with one honest question: would I go back?
No star ratings, no scores. Instead of a number, every report carries the traveller's verdict — Definitely, Yes with conditions, Probably not, Definitely not. Negative experiences are just as welcome as positive ones.
A report can also be verified with real proof: a booking confirmation, a restaurant bill, or a geotagged photo. The badge says exactly what was verified, without publishing the traveller's evidence.
You just write, like you'd tell a friend. The places you mention are found automatically and pinned on a map under your report.
Because when we come back from a trip and talk about it with friends, nobody asks, “How many stars would you give it?” The question that actually matters is much simpler: would you go back?
Back From My Trip is live and features almost 200 trip reports at BackFromMyTrip.com.
I'd love to know how you'd answer that question about your last trip.
This is such a great example of combining human curation with AI to make something that's easy to use but still feels warm, personal, and trustworthy. Really well done.
Thank you Jeremy.
I love the ´no star idea’. The ´Would I go back’ is what I use when I talk with my friends about vacation. Good luck guys. I will write some reports and share it with my friends also.
Thanks Johny. Let me know what do you think about the writing a trip report experience.
Cool. Love the idea, love the old fashion style, nothing fancy, but a plain simple website that pushes the text from the trips instead of doing something very flashy. I wrote one trip report on it, i will try to write more, this winter I'm doing some traveling.
Thank you Johny. Feel free to post your travel experiences. Also, any feedback is welcome.
I absolutely love BackFromMyTrip! We used it to share our holiday in Spain, and the experience was great. Everything is designed to make writing about your trip easy and effortless. It’s so much nicer than filling out endless forms!
It’s also great from a reader’s perspective. You get authentic experiences and real recommendations from people who have actually been there, which helps you plan amazing holidays and weekends in new places.
Corneliu, the Polarsteps import is a smart addition! One of the hardest parts of any travel review platform is getting people to actually share their experiences once they're home 😅 Making that process almost effortless, while keeping the original story in the traveler's own words, could really help build an active community. I also like that the verdict comes with context about when and how someone traveled, rather than just another average rating. Nice work! 🙌
I really appreciate it, thanks Alex.
