We will be sailing on OzCat's newest boat - Varuna - a 38 foot Seawind 1160 Resort Catamaran. It looks incredible and if you'd like a sneak peek check out the video here:
Pre-cruise drinks: We'll have pre-cruise drinks from 5pm to 6pm at Cargo bar. We will have a $200 bar tab so get there early to have a drink and mingle and we can board the yacht as a group. Look for the group at the tables at the front!
Yacht Pickup - Pickup will be at 6pm - 6.10pm at King Street Wharf Pier 8 - opposite Cargo Bar. The boat will depart at 6.10pm SHARP as there is a time allocation. If you're late, the boat has to leave without you!
Yacht Dropoff - Dropoff will be at 9.30pm to King Street Wharf. Or if you can swim to shore, any time you want!
BYO - the yacht will provide the use of one large esky with ice and one fridge during the charter. Bring wine, beers, or whatever you'd like to drink. There is a bottle shop two minutes walk away from the pickup point on Erskine Street (King Cellars). The boat supplies Sydney tap water on board, or you can bring bottled water.
Food - We've ordered 4 platters of wraps, and will also be providing some light snacks such as chips, dips, etc. If there is something fancy you want to eat or you have specific dietary requirements - please bring what you need. There will be a fridge on board too to store anything that needs to be kept cool.
Please bring: Your swimmers and towels! Sunglasses, Sunscreen, layered Clothing i.e. light jacket or Wind Cheater (even in summer evenings on a boat can be cool).
Shoes: We will take our shoes off when we get on the boat, so wear shoes you can take off easily - no boots, high-heels, or stilettos or shoes with black soles. If you must wear shoes, they must be white non-slip soles.
Music: Our yacht comes equipped with a stereo - bring your favorite tunes on your iPhone and we will democratically appoint the DJ who has the best tunes :)
