About this event

Join us for our Sustainable Tourism event, presented and moderated by ITB Berlin.

We will discuss the topic "Responsible travel in times of flight shame and co." in a panel moderated by Rika Jean-Francois (CSR Commissioner at ITB Berlin).

Our panelists are:

- Michaela Thurau, Atmosfair
- Susana Ceron Baumann, ForumAndersReisen
- Christian Tänzler, visitBerlin

We will discuss the following and more:

- What has changed in travelers’ attitudes toward travel in times of flight shame, Fridays for Future, overtourism etc.?
- Are people actually traveling less or are they just traveling differently than before?
- How can we travel or behave responsibly when taking a city trip?
- What practical recommendations are there for both travelers and tourism professionals that want to be more responsible?

Thanks to Berlin-based selo for providing selo green coffee for our event. Fitting for our topic, selo is made with ingredients from organic and biodynamic agriculture, that respect our nature. They are produced with respect to the people, mainly small holder farmers, who grow the coffee, fruits and flowers that our drinks are composed of. Learn more at www.drinkselo.com/en/

We look forward to seeing you!
