While this event is in February, I believe that Christmas is more of a state of mind than an actual day of the year. And since we weren't able to have the gift exchange in December (I was traveling) or January (snowmageddon), we're having it this time.

To participate in the “Dirty Santa” gift exchange, please bring a wrapped present of $25 or less (or more if you're feeling generous). Preferably, the gift should be something from a recent trip or something that would be good for a future trip.

1) Everyone grabs a number from the hat.
2) First person picks first & opens present.
3) Second person can steal the gift or select an unopened present.
4) Continue through all numbers.
5) An opened gift can be stolen twice until it is “safe” from being stolen again.

Participation is optional. But who wouldn't want to be part of the fun?
