About this event

What does your South African heritage mean to you? Is it defined by the generations who have come before you; by the beaches, mountains, deserts or cities you call home; by the religion you practise, the language you speak, the clothing you wear or the food your eat? South Africa is a place of magnificent diversity but, whatever your heritage, we’re pretty sure that most South Africans can identify with and unite behind the following: good people, a lekker braai and a cold beer or two.

With a history dating to 1895, South African Breweries is one of South Africa’s best-loved brands and far-reaching exports. It’s synonymous with quality, with sunshine and sport, with community and camaraderie, and with all things South African. It’s an unmistakable part of our heritage.

With this in mind, Travel Massive is teaming up with the SAB World of Beer, the SAB’s award-winning tourist attraction in Newtown, this Heritage Month. We’re offering a quintessentially South African experience: a free tour into the history of beer, a boerewors roll and a beer right in the heart of Johannesburg.

* Share a picture of what your heritage means to you – make sure you tag @SABWoB or use the #SABWoBheritage hashtag – and you could stand in line to win an awesome ( Did I mention AWESOME?) SAB hamper on the day.

Space is limited so RSVP today and please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.

* You’re welcome to bring a partner with you, but please note that they will have to cover the cost of their tour.
