Hi there! My name is Yvette and I'm a full-time travel writer, content creator and freelance journalist. I run the blog Wayfaring Kiwi which focuses on travel in Scotland.

I'm originally from New Zealand, but I have been living in Scotland for the past 8+ years.

I live in West Lothian with my husband, Craig, our 3-year-old son, Alex, and our Labrador, Angus! We regularly travel around Scotland as a family, promoting all the wonderful things that the country has to offer.

I work with tourism businesses in Scotland to promote them to my readers and followers on social media. As of 2026, my blog receives over half a million hits and I have over 500,000 followers across my social media channels and Facebook group, Scotland Travel Tips.

I am also the co-owner of Kiwi and Haggis Tours with my husband. We specialise in private driving tours departing Edinburgh.
