About me

Traveler and explorer at heart, I’ve visited more than 52 countries and developed a deep passion for cultures, languages, hospitality, and the people that make every destination unique.

I’m a Hotelschool The Hague graduate and have worked with various hospitality brands, experiences that shaped my belief that great travel is about much more than simply reaching a destination it’s about discovering places, stories, and experiences worth remembering.

Today, I’m Product Manager at GemsAround, where I help build a travel discovery platform that connects inspiration, user-generated content, places, maps, and trip planning. Our goal is to make discovering what’s around you more visual, authentic, and effortless while helping travelers uncover places beyond the obvious.

Outside of travel and technology, I enjoy sports, meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about cultures and languages, and constantly exploring what’s next.

I joined to stay up to date with what’s happening in travel, connect with like-minded people, and be part of a community that shares ideas and experiences. I’d also love to contribute my own perspective and share some of the projects I’m working on in travel and technology.

What is your favorite travel destination?

There are honestly too many to choose from, but Thailand has a special place in my heart. It’s one of those destinations I’d happily return to again and again.

Where do you dream of traveling to?

New Zealand, Argentina, and Japan are definitely high on the list, but the bigger goal is simply to keep exploring and experience as much of the world as possible.

What was your first travel job?

My first job in travel was as a Sports Animator and Guest Relations team member, which gave me an early introduction to hospitality, international guests, and the importance of creating memorable experiences.

What do you want to learn more about?

I’m especially interested in learning more about how technology, AI, user-generated content, and new digital experiences are changing the way people discover destinations and plan their travels. I’m also always curious to learn from people working across tourism, hospitality, destination marketing, and content creation.
