Simone Olivero is a Toronto-based writer and editor who specializes in travel, fashion, beauty and lifestyle editorial. She has been published in Toronto Life, FLARE, The Toronto Star, Glow, Canadian House & Home, Toronto Pearson's AWAY, Post City and online at xoJane, CBC Travel, Slice, The Loop and BlogTO. She was previously a Style Editor at Yahoo! Canada and is currently a Senior Editor at Today's Parent with a focus on travel, lifestyle and food.

In addition to her editorial work, Simone has created custom content for a range of companies and lifestyle brands including the National Ballet of Canada, Grey Goose and EOS beauty products.

Simone holds a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature & Culture from the University of Western Ontario and a post-graduate diploma in Secondary Education from La Trobe University in Australia.

When she's not writing, Simone can often be found pursuing her other passion; travel. Born with a natural wanderlust, she boarded her first plane before she could walk and has been crisscrossing the globe ever since. She loves nothing more than learning a new language, immersing herself in different cultures and taking photos of her feet as she explores each new place they take her.
