Travel has been my passion both professionally and personally for much of my life; travelling multiple times across 29 countries and working in seven countries. After being employed in the UK-based travel industry, I relocated to Australia in 1998 and morphed into a full-time freelance travel and lifestyle writer, based for 19 straight years in Vietnam and Indonesia. I’ve written for countless international magazines, newspapers and websites and updated numerous travel guidebooks - author of two, first edition travel guides on Vietnam. I've been personally selected to contribute to travel anthologies, as a guest lecturer for a Vietnam CEO lecture series, Asia Spa Awards judge and guest speaker on two podcasts.

I've undertaken extensive copywriting work for a diverse portfolio of companies across Asia Pacific and held positions as chief writer / editor in Southeast Asia offices. This includes helping to set-up, launch and jointly run an English-language tourist magazine for the state-run V.N.A.T in Hanoi and senior marketing content writer / editor for an upscale tour operator in Ho Chi Minh City. My niche genre is luxury travel and specialist destinations, Vietnam and Indonesia.

After relocating from Vietnam back to Sydney in 2021, I’ve been employed in full-time, travel content writer positions for Imagination Holidays and Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours. I'm now open to embracing new opportunities and projects out there suited to my career skills and experience.
