The travel bug has always had a good hold on me and years ago, an extended work-and-travel experience across Argentina, South Africa, Singapore, and Vietnam lit a fire that hasn’t stopped burning.
That experience showed me what was possible with location-independent work and life, but it also revealed a gap. At 50+, I found myself surrounded mostly by twenty- and thirty-something nomads. Where was the community for experienced entrepreneurs and professionals who wanted to travel, work, and connect - without having to “rough it”?
That spark led to Adventurous Life International, which I co-founded with my longtime friend and fellow entrepreneur, Linda. Since 2018, we’ve been curating one-month work-and-travel experiences for business owners and professionals 40+, helping them explore new cultures, stay productive, and build friendships that last well beyond the trip.
So far, our journeys have taken us to places like Australia and New Zealand, Bali, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Czechia and more, and we’re just getting started.
When I’m not leading cohorts abroad, you’ll find me running my other businesses (I’m a marketing strategist and educator) from wherever the wifi is good.
I would like to connect with like-minded industry members.
SO FAR, it's New Zealand. We drove across the North and South islands and every turn was more beautiful than the last.
Antarctica (I've hit all the other continents) + French Polynesia are at the top of my bucket list.
Empowerment, Inspiration, Reset
