I’m Melissa Lagerquist, a San Diego-based independent travel advisor and CLIA Certified Cruise Counsellor with four years of experience helping clients find cruises that genuinely fit the way they want to travel. Through Melissa Lagerquist Travel, affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel Group, I specialize in upscale ocean cruising, adults-only voyages and thoughtful planning for first-time cruisers.

My approach is what I call Understated Luxury: attentive service, well-designed ships, excellent dining and memorable experiences without unnecessary formality or fuss. I particularly enjoy comparing cruise lines, itineraries, fare options and cabin categories so travelers understand what they are booking and can make confident decisions.
My cruise interests range from luxury lines such as Regent Seven Seas Cruises to Virgin Voyages and its contemporary adults-only experience. I also create practical cruise-planning resources that translate complicated booking choices into straightforward guidance.

I joined Travel Massive to connect with other travel professionals, exchange practical industry knowledge and contribute a travel advisor’s perspective on cruise trends, traveler expectations and the decisions that shape a successful voyage.
