Marc Sanderson is Malaga, Spain ́s first Director of International Economic Development. Since he joined the City of Malaga in 2009, his primary responsibilities are to attract direct foreign investments, to assist local businesses with their internationalization, to expand relationships with foreign universities and to support the overall economic development in the area.

Before working in Malaga, Mr. Sanderson was the Chief of Staff to the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain.
