Related to my special interest, I'm itching to explore the rest of the immersive living-history museums on my wish list, such as New Lanark in Scotland and Port Sunlight in Liverpool.

What was your first travel job?

I worked for a travel marketing agency in Keynsham in the 1990s looking after French tourist board accounts.
