About me

Linus is an adventurer & entrepreneur of Chinese, Scottish & English heritage who was raised in the United Kingdom. He has been based in Shanghai, China since 2004, but sees himself as a truly global citizen with neutral allegiance status.

Linus’ personal and professional adventures have taken him to over 70 countries on all seven continents, covering about 250,000km of planet's Earth road and track.

His early career was originally in music promotion and production, eventually leading to major events management in sports, arts and culture shows and international expositions, such as the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, UK Pavilion, Deputy Director Operations, which made a world record of 73 million visitors over a 6 month period. Linus also volunteered in the immediate aftermath of one of China most severe earthquakes in Sichuan province mainly focusing in the refugee camp facilities set up.

In 2008 Linus became a part owner of 4x4 World Explorer Sdh Bhd (Malaysia), a company established in 1994 and founder of You Trax International established in 2013 (Hong Kong). He has been actively organising global driving trans-continental expeditions since 2008 of which always includes some humanitarian or charitable works along the way.

I've been blessed to been to most of them, the question now is who do I dream of travelling with! :-)
