After my introduction to travel in my mid teens, I fell in love with the aspect of learning about new cultures and worlds beyond the boarders of my home outside Toronto, Canada. I decided to study my Bachelors Degree in International Development and Sociology, with an area of emphasis on Gender and Development. After a semester of Study in Guatemala, and the completion of my degree, I left to work for an NGO based outside of London, UK. Still feeling like I had more to learn from academic studies, I decided to take on a Masters.

This past year, I have been completing my Masters Degree in International and Intercultural Communications with the Geert Hofstede Consortium, studying my first semester in Lithuania, and second in Italy.

Passionate about culture and people, I have spent the past 10 years investing in international experiences which would help shape me into the global citizen I seek to be - with an open mind and stronger understanding of people around the world, and the way we communicate and interact with each other and our environments. An opportunity to live, work, and study in Guatemala and Peru, allowed for me to become well-versed in Spanish, a skill I hope to continually improve in.

I am an enthusiastic individual, keen for new learning opportunities and any chance to make new friends or gain new experiences. In addition to travel, my hobbies include photography and almost any outdoor activity/sport.

I've recently set up my own travel blog to accompany my rapidly growing Instagram community and hope to continue to use my skill set to educate people on responsible and ethical tourism. I hope to develop a community for people seeking out ethical companies, agencies and organizations to travel with, giving them tips and advice based on firsthand experience, my background and my personal expertise.
