Krystal Tan is a lawyer-turned-travel aficionado, who believes in a world unlocked and without barriers, brimming with rich experiences that shun discrimination and encourage self-discovery.

Graduating from King's College London with a First Class Honours law degree and spending eight years working as a corporate M&A lawyer, she came to see her travels as a means to discover a truer life. What began as a side gig grew into Blue Sky Escapes, a travel and lifestyle brand which unlocks extraordinary experiences around the world. Within two years of full scale operations, Blue Sky Escapes was invited to join the prestigious Virtuoso network, comprising the top 2% of travel brands in the world.

Krystal is passionate about embracing a growth mindset and every day occurrences with an open heart and a hunger for experimentation. An intermediate djembe player, drummer and guitarist, former professional Counterstrike gamer and first female to mine her engagement ring in the South African seas, she’s always up for trying something new.
