Results oriented communications and marketing professional with over 13 years experience and 11 years specific to destination marketing and public relations in the travel and tourism industry. Currently serving as a principal media contact for Fahlgren Mortine clients Visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, TravelNevada, Visit Boise, Idaho and the Idaho Wine Commission.

Within the last two years alone, I have organized 26 out-of-market media missions and events in ten markets on behalf of clients (Visit Myrtle Beach, Visit Boise, Office of TourismOhio, Wyoming Office of Tourism and TravelNevada), resulting in coverage in The Daily Meal, National Geographic Traveler, Travel + Leisure and New York Magazine, as well as broadcast coverage on AMHQ The Weather Channel, NBC’s The Today Show, Fox & Friends and Peter Greenberg’s travel segment on CBS News.

Other highlights include executing a media event in New York City to celebrate a new direct flight to Reno from Jet Blue Airlines. The TravelNevada media relations campaign was recently awarded the highly coveted U.S. Travel Association Mercury Award, for best state tourism public relations campaign in 2016.

I have also been driving awareness of Myrtle Beach as a tourism destination since 2005. In 2016 alone, media relations programs for Visit Myrtle Beach reached approximately 2 billion impressions.

I also support the agency on other new business initiatives and consumer brand communications, and continue to serve as a South Carolina based office contact.
