Solo founder building clubbr, an app that answers one question: what should I do tonight, right where I am?

I came at that question from three sides. I organised and promoted events myself, first through a youth culture association I founded. I worked at Basel Tourism in tourist information, where visitors asked what was on that evening and got handed a paper flyer. And like everyone else, I have sat in a hotel room in a great city with no idea what was happening two streets away.

So clubbr aggregates real local events itself, from local sources per city, instead of waiting for organisers to upload. A city goes live full instead of empty. Live in Basel, 235 city pages, six languages, built by one person.
