I am a tourism industry professional of over 35 years experience. I started as a tour guide and operated my own adventure tour company in Central Australia. I then sold up and headed global working in Africa, Asia, India and the Middle East for 14 years in various guiding and management roles. I returned to Australia to take up a role as Operations Manager for a large tourism operator and then a role as General Manager for another. For the last 8 years I have been operating luxury private tours from Melbourne, Australia. In 2020 due the the Covid19 pandemic I have started a travel blogging website, Exceptional Journeys, which is aimed at the 50+ market.
