Hi, I’m Jane, and I’m working on Unfenced, an early-stage project to help travellers discover local experiences and help the people behind them make their offerings easier to find and book.

I’ve always been an avid traveller, from my early days of Couchsurfing to working in the travel industry. Travel has shaped how I see the world. After 10+ years working in go-to-market across travel, tech, and entertainment, I now want to build something that supports the people who make it worth exploring.

I’m interested in what makes an experience special: the person hosting it, why they do what they do, and their connection to a place. With Unfenced, I’m exploring how to help local hosts share those stories, reach travellers who would appreciate what they offer, and spend less time preparing content for different platforms.

I’m here to meet people working in travel, learn from local hosts and fellow founders, and exchange ideas about how we discover and connect with a place. Always happy to chat, share what I’m learning, or explore something together.
