About me

I am Isaac Ssamba, born and raised up from Mukono district, Uganda. I am social entrepreneur, businessman, community leader and farmer. I am the Founder and Executive Chairman of the Ssamba Rural Development Foundation Ltd (popularly known as Ssamba Foundation). A local indigenous non-government, non-profit organization in Uganda.

I established the organization in 2006 to provide sustainable development and humanitarian support for vulnerable communities in Uganda. I am involved in other non-profit projects like Hope Children’s Academy (a school providing quality education to orphans and vulnerable children from low-income families), Hope Family Clinic Mukono (a community-focused health center providing high-quality health services) and Crestview High School (a community secondary school under construction).

In business, I am the Proprietor of Wanderlust Adventures (a tours and travel business), Kyampisi Backpackers Home (a bed and breakfast budget guest house). In 2021, I was recognized by the African Tourism Board for his contributions to both tourism and humanitarian service.

I am a Proud Rotarian serving with the Rotary Club of Mukono Central where I have held leadership roles like serving as the Club President in the Rotary year 2025-2026 (Unite for Good), having previously served as the Service Projects Chair for 2yrs. I am the Patron of the Kyampisi Women Empowerment Resource Centre. I am also an active member of the Uganda Red Cross Society.
