Emma Cottis is the Director of Business Solutions at Goway Travel, where she has been a key member of the leadership team since 2004. In her role, she oversees the planning, coordination, and optimization of business operations and systems, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization. She is especially passionate about embedding sustainable practices into Goway’s business operations and long-term strategy.

With more than three decades of experience in the North American travel industry, Emma has held senior positions spanning Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology. She earned her Honours Degree in Tourism Management, with concentrations in Marketing, Information Technology, and Transport Planning. Her career has taken her across several major U.S. cities - including Houston, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia - and she now divides her time between Toronto and Detroit, accompanied by her faithful Labrador.

As a long-standing Director of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), Emma has played an instrumental role in advancing the organization’s vision and industry leadership. She co-founded the USTOA Sustainability Committee, championing responsible travel and industry-wide collaboration. Under her leadership, the committee has promoted best practices, elevated sustainability standards, and fostered greater alignment around environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and business resilience.
