David is a new media and travel expert who is based in Vancouver,Canada. David has travelled to 43 countries around the world and lived in various regions of Canada, Australia, the U.S. and Japan. He is an avid skier and scuba diver who also enjoys hiking and surfing, and looks for great undiscovered hotels and restaurants. Previously as the Global Vice President of an international PR Firm he worked with travel brands such as Tourism Australia, Destination British Columbia, Emirates, Expedia, Tourism Huntington Beach, Tourism Victoria, Destination Canada, Rocky Mountaineer & Pursuit Collection. He created one of the worldβs first travel podcasts in 2005, which has consistently been rated as one of the top 10 travel downloads on iTunes in Canada and the US. His travel content has also been featured on websites such as Yahoo Travel, MSN Travel and Canadian Living. He has been a speaker at Travel Blogger Exchange Conference (TBEX) in 2011, the Canadian Tourism Commissions Go Media conference in 2012, and he was accredited as new media at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the World Ski and Snowboard Festival in 2012 & 2013.
