Awkward, clumsy and just a tad ridiculous – Hi, Christina Guan here, at your service.
I’m a Canadian who chased her happily ever after to Europe, and I now call Munich, Germany home.
My mission is to help travelers visit Europe smarter, cheaper and more off-the-beaten path. Through creating detailed guides and videos that demystify the travel process, along with fun stories and articles that showcase the hidden gems of even Europe's most travelled cities, I hope to make every traveler's trip to Europe just a little more magical.
In addition to my main travel website, Happy to Wander, I also run a local expat publication in Munich known as Bored in Munich, which has a dedicated hyperlocal subscriber base of English speakers in the city interested in local events, travel opportunities, and places to go.

Q&AAnywhere there's carbs, beer, and scenic views. On that note, probably Italy, Germany and Northern Ireland

What was your first travel job?
Q&AI worked as a photographer/blogger on various river cruises one summer! I got to do 10 different multi-day cruises and visit over a dozen new countries. As a 21 year old, this was a pretty sweet gig!
