I was visiting my sister (a missionary in Bogotá) and was lucky enough to spend 3 full months traveling around and discovering places like the Amazon, the Coffee Zone, Caribbean, Pacific Coast and the fantastic culture of Bogotá. This was also when I had the great fortune to met and fall in love with Paula Parra; a beautiful Colombian woman from the Coffee Zone who I was to marry 15 months later. During this time I found it very difficult to find English speaking guides, so it was up to the people I was with to translate everything for me.
