I started Kora Tours as a way to share my love of travel and its rewards with people around the world, and to share a unique glimpse into the culture of my beloved homeland, the Himalaya.

After earning Master's degrees in Marketing and Economics, I found a job in the travel industry, which grew into a rewarding career that's accompanied me through 40 years of countless challenges and adventures. During this time I traveled widely, setting foot on 5 continents and nearly every trail in the Nepalese Himalaya.

I am an avid reader and is passionate about trekking, rafting and bird watching, all of which has given me an intimate knowledge of my homeland and the eagerness to share it.
