With over 24 years of life in Cambodia, André Ruys is a Dutch-born pioneer in the country’s travel industry. Since founding his first venture in 2003, André has dedicated himself to uncovering the authentic soul of Cambodia, far beyond the typical tourist trails.
As the owner of Cambodiajeep.com and Cambodian Travel Partner, André manages a unique fleet of 20 vintage jeeps. He specializes in high-end, off-road adventures—from navigating rugged mountain passes to finding serenity in luxury floating tents.
Whether he’s conquering dusty backcountry roads or discovering hidden temples, André’s mission remains the same: to share the raw beauty and hidden gems of his adopted home with fellow adventurers. A co-founder of the Siem Reap Tourism Alliance, he continues to shape the future of sustainable and experiential travel in the region.

Thanks for liking this post. I also believe we are working on something very interesting to promote Siem Reap. The private sector now has to take the lead in promoting the destination ourselves.
