I'm excited to share something very close to my heart: the Women in Travel Enterprising Tour Guiding Academy, running right here in Berlin.

I work with Women in Travel CIC, a London-based social enterprise dedicated to opening the tourism industry to women from underrepresented backgrounds – women who deserve a real chance to step into this space.

What it's about: building confidence, practical guiding skills, storytelling, and guest communication – all through a female-focused lens. We're not just training; we're creating visibility, empowerment, and a community.

The program runs in two phases:

Phase 1 – Workshops & Coaching (approx. 6 weeks):

A blend of online and in-person workshops focused on guiding fundamentals, storytelling, guest communication, and building confidence in front of an audience.

Phase 2 – Women-Led Tour Development (approx. 4 weeks):

Two participants will be selected to develop their very own Berlin tour – from concept to creation. These tours will be promoted and sold through Women in Travel CIC's Women-Led Tours platform, giving them real visibility and a genuine entry into the tourism industry.

We have 3 spots left. If you are a woman from an underrepresented background, love sharing stories, meeting people, and are curious about working in tourism – this could be for you. And it is totally for free.

What you need:

- Berlin-based
- A valid work permit in Germany
- Good English skills (B1 or above)
- A genuine interest in culture, people, and storytelling

The program starts early October. Our info session is this Thursday, 24 September.
