On Wednesday, 3 June we invite you to the 4th meeting of the Travel Massive Slovenia. We will meet at 19:20 on the Cobblers' Bridge in Ljubljana and at 19:30 we will take a Ljubljanica boat cruise courtesy of Barka Ljubljanica (our sponsor this month).
Outline of our meeting:
- Short presentation of TM for new members
- Examples of good practice and past successful connections of TM,
- Presentation of the sponsor: Barka Ljubljanica,
- Socializing (networking) ... where we create the basis for a new successful cooperation.
If you have not already done so, we suggest that you create a profile (it takes just 5 minutes) and join our Slovenia Chapter.
The success of any such community is proportional to the time and energy they invested its members. Therefore, we ask that those in the Travel Massive actively participate:
1) Suggest or, better yet, bring with you at least three new members who travel professionals:
FIELDS: hotels, agencies, tour, event planning, LTO, RDO, boats, souvenir shops and food services (whose target group is mostly tourists), tour operators, journalists, bloggers, museums, art galleries, tourist developers of applications, researchers / professors of tourism, start-up companies in the field of tourism ... in short all who are primary income is tourism.
WHO: Ultimate goal is to get decision-makers with which to agree on concrete cooperation, all of which contribute constructively to tourism: the owner, managers, receptionists, advertisers, guides, ...
2) Suggest topics that interest you and which may be through their work realistically move things better ... Whining does not interest us.
3) Suggest potential sponsors: anyone or any business which can contribute to a drink and a snack, offer space for meeting or help in participation in tourism events ...
Global practice:
- Among the prominent sponsors were: Booking.com, Airbnb, Viator, G Adventures, Hosteling International, Incredible India, Tourism Fiji, South Africa Airlines and many others.
- MSC cruise is offered for TM event.
- Various sponsors are members of the TM to allow free entry and socializing with food and drink at the biggest tourism fairs (London, Berlin, Barcelona, ...).
- Google campus has offered its premises for the organization TM eventov.
- Representatives of TM are already included in the operation of national / regional / local tourism authorities around the world (National Tourist Office in the Czech Republic, Co-design of tourism strategies in the South African Republic ...)
