Hello everyone!
We invite you to the Travel Massive Albania’s upcoming event that will be held on March 24th, at 18:30 at Alpin Bistro bar.
For this time, our community will discuss the current development stage of mountaineering and rock climbing sports. Mountaineering started to practice as a sport in Albania after the 1950’s and now it deserves to get promoted more from our community. In turn, rock climbing is a new sport with a huge potential to become a trend in Albania, due to the country’s favorable geographical conditions for the exercising of such extreme sport.
Our staff has invited two speakers to tell more about these sports and their current development in Albania. They are Xhimi Begeja (founder and director of the Dajti Alpino Turistik Association, professional climber, one of the six Albanians who climbed Mount Everest in 2012) and Elion Çikopano (founder of Tirana Rock Climbing Gym, climbingalbania.com and Albanian Climbing Festival).
