About this event

Whether you're an established travel blogger or just wondering how inbound content marketing might benefit your business, it can be hard to know where to focus your energy when it comes to content creating. Should you be working on driving traffic to your posts? Focusing on SEO? Growing your social media presence? Pumping out brand new posts? Improving old ones? Monetizing your content? All of the above?!?!?

Yep - it's a slippery slope into a panic spiral (I speak from experience). But take a deep breath and let's jump in! In this Lunch & Learn, I'll be covering the specific steps that I take at the beginning of each year to set goals for my travel blog & business. I'll help guide you through the first steps of planning your own year, and by the end of lunch, the panic spiral will (hopefully) give way to renewed energy and excitement.

Note: This is not a sponsored event and lunch will NOT be provided, so we recommend bringing it with you! We will be able to provide coffee. We'll meet in the lobby. Please wait for Edward, Lia, or Jay to escort you up to our meeting space.

About Your Host: Lia Garcia is one half of the disaster prone couple behind Practical Wanderlust, an off-beat couple’s travel blog. She and her husband started their blog in 2016 just before taking off on a year-long honeymoon. Less than 3 years later, Lia is a full time travel blogger whose blog earns over 6 figures annually and receives over 225k page views monthly. Her travel writing and advice has been featured in Forbes, Travel & Leisure, Fodor’s, Vice, The Washington Post, Matador, and more. You can learn all of her blogging secrets (and cringe at her awful jokes) at her travel blogging resource site, Slaying Social.
