As part of their road trip to explore "less touristic" destinations, we are hosting a Travel Massive event in the magnificent region of Apokoronas.

Join Crete Travel Massive for a roundtable mini-summit in the quaint traditional village of Vamos in Chania Prefecture. On May 11th, at the Vamos Town Hall, Crete Travel Massive will welcome an international group of seven influential travel bloggers and local experts to discuss the promotion of Crete destinations.

Hosted by the municipality of Apokoronas and the Mayor Haralambos Koukianakis, and
Mr. Stavros Stavroulakis the president of (Αποκόρωνας Αναπτυξιακή Ανώνυμη Εταιρεία) the one-day Travel Massive event will be an open forum format with short presentations and discussions covering topics from destination marketing to sustainability issues for the Chania Prefecture and the Region of Crete.

Participating in presentations and discussions will be a group of Europe’s most influential travel bloggers; Elena Sergeeva (Founder of Passion for Greece), Chrysoula Manika (Travel Passionate Luxury Travel), Amber Charmei (Greece Is), Tzina Varotsi (Founder of Eikones & Psithyroi), travel and food vlogger Todd Hata, and Mansoureh Farahani (Iranian travel blogger and vlogger).

Vamos is one of Crete’s best preserved and most attractive traditional villages. Visitors from outside the area will be fascinated by the architectural heritage of the village, the beautifully-painted chapels, Karidi Monastery, the old olive press with 12 arches, and a well-preserved traditional stone road, not to mention a score of wonderful tavernas set in the pristine environment of the White Mountain (Lefka Ori) foothills.
