If you're camera shy, this workshop will provide some training to become more comfortable. For many, broadcast opportunities will help push your career to the next level, garner publicity for your brand or enable you to become a spokesperson.
🎬 ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop will begin with an overview of being on camera: How to prepare to shoot content with you involved, how to interview subjects and make sure they're comfortable, memorization and how to improve your on-camera presence and come off as relaxed and knowledgeable. You will also get a few tips to help your product look and sound as good as possible.
🎥 TAPE YOUR OWN NEWS SEGMENT
Then it's showtime as you go in front of a news-style camera to tape a quick segment. It can be prepared in advance or you can pick from a few ideas provided at the session. You will get some constructive criticism and have the segment emailed to you so you can see for yourself how you did.

You will learn from our expert and fellow Travel Massive community member Wendy Gillette, a television news anchor, and correspondent with more than 20 years experience at local stations and networks. She currently freelance reports and produces at CBS News and anchors business news on NY1 and Spectrum stations from the NYSE. Wendy has traveled to more than 50 countries and started a YouTube page last year to showcase her travel adventures:
