If you care about the environment and want to learn how to keep your business green, this upcoming November event is just for you. It’s taking place at Fatfish, one of the first restaurants in Da Nang that signed up as a free refill station.
The main theme is the Refill My Bottle launch in Da Nang. Nick Wade from IMPACT Vietnam, the sustainability network for tour operators in Vietnam, is coming all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to present Travel Massive members about this program. Guests will have the opportunity to join a community of mindful businesses and become refillers right on the spot.
David Saiia, Founder of Reuse Everything Institute (REII) will do a presentation on their projects and show a prototype of the plastic reuse machine along with the products it can make. Do you know how to reduce the plastic lifecycle to 17 years? David does and is happy to share.
Christopher Dunn, CEO and Founder of Grow Your Life - Social Premaculture Institute will present their eco produce: bamboo straws and 100% cellulose fiber products that are biodegradable.
Alison Batchelor, founder & owner of Refillables Hoi An, will tell about Central Vietnam's first zero waste - refillables concept store. A shop that will focus on refilling old containers rather than creating new ones, and offering other sustainable alternatives to the abundant use of unnecessary plastics in our day-to-day lives.
