We are seeking to hire for several roles including admin support and social media. We need positive, responsive, highly detail-oriented people who want to support our mission of inspiring women 50+ to travel. We work virtually, so this role is ideal for someone who can adapt quickly, work remotely, communicates well and complete tasks independently. You must have excellent English writing skills, and be passionate about women's empowerment and travel. Experience in the travel industry is an absolute MUST. Ideally, you are based in Canada, which is our HQ. No agencies, please; experienced freelancers only. These roles are part-time, approx. 15 hours a week to start but there is room to grow.
For years, planning and booking trips to remote parts of the world has been incredibly complicated.
Travel specialists often spend hours creating proposals, building costings, hand-crafting itineraries, looking after payments and managing post-booking admin for travellers.
We’re working to change all that with Timbuktu’s tech focused host agency, Waybird.
Waybird uses the same powerful technology and curated content as Timbuktu, but gives you full control to:
• Create beautiful, multi-destination proposals in minutes
• Access live availability and dynamic pricing
• Access to our preferred supplier rates, improving your margin and lowering costs
• Earn 80% commission
• Set your own markups and control your profit
• Improved conversions with guests being able to pay on the platform
• Our concierge team handles supplier payments and supports every step of the way
• Automatically generated invoices
• Easily collect guest information
• Convert itineraries into PDF documents
• Choose from over 3,000 handpicked properties, experiences and trips in Africa, Asia and Latin America or create your own anywhere in the world
• Be part of our community of like-minded travel specialists from advisors to on-the-ground DMCs and suppliers
• Back-office support allows you to work on more enquiries without having to grow your team
• Access to product training, travel shows and fam trips
• Included public liability insurance for peace of mind
