Wandr

Social Media Manager

Wandr is a platform that connects travelers with unique experiences in the Balkans. We’re looking for a hands-on and creative social media lead to own and execute our short-form video strategy end-to-end. You’ll have access to 20h+ of raw travel footage to create hundreds of clips, constantly test formats, and scale what works across Instagram and TikTok. This is a full-time freelance position for someone who thrives in autonomy, loves the creative process from raw footage to viral content, and has a proven track record of growing social media channels.

What you’ll do:
- Short-form content ideation (IG Reels & Tiktok, and occasional picture carousels) and maintenance of a backlog of hook ideas and repeatable formats
- Turn 20+ hours of raw footage into hundreds of engaging and scroll-stopping short form videos (strong hooks, voice overs, etc.)
- Schedule and maintain posting cadence of 1-2 videos / day across multiple accounts and platforms
- Track analytics (views, saves, shares, clicks, etc.), remove unsuccessful formats and double down on what works
- Stay ahead of social media trends and quickly adapt strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Collaborate with the founder daily and operate with high autonomy

Requirements:
- Proven track record leading social media strategies with measurable results (TikTok/IG case studies, before/after metrics)
- Deep understanding of platform algorithms to optimize content performance and distribution
- Creative mind and willingness to relentlessly test, analyze, and iterate on content formats to maximize reach, engagement and clicks
- Creative problem-solver who can iterate quickly based on results
- Comfortable with high-volume content production workflows
- Fluent in English, written and verbal (for hooks, captions, scripts, etc.)

Wandr has high growth ambitions and social media is our primary acquisition channel, so you’ll play a key role in driving that growth. We care far more about results than degrees: if you’re hungry and can prove it, there’ll be real long-term opportunities to grow with us.

To apply, please send me an email at b.collin@justwandr.com with links to your portfolio, social media accounts you've managed or short-form content you've created

Visit Natives

Beyond Stereotypes: Indigenous Storytelling Fellowship 2026

We believe stories can change the world. At Visit Natives, we have seen how Indigenous voices are too often reduced to clichés, exotic images, or simplified tourist snapshots. Storytelling, when done with care and collaboration, can transform this. It can reveal resilience, wisdom, and everyday realities that the world rarely sees, and it can change how travelers and the tourism industry approach Indigenous cultures.

This is why we created the Indigenous Storytelling Fellowship 2026the . Each year, one filmmaker or visual storyteller is invited to co-create a short documentary with an Indigenous community. The inaugural fellowship takes place in a remote Tanzanian village under the theme “Beyond Stereotypes: Indigenous Tanzania.”

The fellowship covers all on-the-ground costs including accommodation, meals, transport, logistics, permits, guides, translation, and community hosting. Fellows only cover their international flights, insurance, personal equipment, and post-production. What we provide is not just access but the support to build trust, create ethically, and respect cultural boundaries.

We do this because tourism needs new narratives. Too often communities are pictured as frozen in time or romanticized for outsiders. But real stories, told with respect, consent, and collaboration, can break stereotypes and show living and evolving cultures. Storytelling has the power to make tourism more ethical, more human, and more connected. It invites travelers and audiences to see Indigenous peoples not as symbols but as people with agency, knowledge, and a voice that deserves to be heard.

Applications are open until 28 February 2026. If you want to tell stories that matter and help reshape the way the world sees Indigenous communities, we invite you to apply.
