Canadian-born, naturalized American. After finishing my doctorate in bioengineering in my early 20s, I have lived and worked in the US, Canada, China, and the United Arab Emirates. I speak Mandarin Chinese as my second language, with strong proficiency in Spanish and Japanese, with functional French, Arabic, and Romanian.
