I first started traveling in 2010, when I was posted to Mumbai, India, and then Shanghai, China, on diplomatic postings for the UK Foreign Service. In 2016, my wife (who is from Seattle) and I agreed to move back to her hometown, provided that we could first travel to some of the places that I’ve always wanted to visit! This took us through Tibet, Russia, Australia, Argentina, The Galapagos, Cuba and up and down South America’s West Coast. Along the way, we created and curated luxury hotel and destination guides for Northstar Travel Media. Since landing in Seattle, I have started working as an Expedition Specialist for Expedition Trips, a boutique travel agency based in West Seattle.
