About me

Susan Lanier-Graham is the founder, publisher, and editor-in-chief of Wander With Wonder, an award-winning online food, wine, travel, and lifestyle magazine. She launched Wander in 2009 following two decades as a freelance writer and speaker, focusing on luxury travel, fine dining, wine, and meaningful “wow moment” experiences. The publication earned a SATW Lowell Thomas Award for Best Travel Journalism Website.

Susan has authored more than 75 books and hundreds of articles across print and digital platforms. Her work has appeared in outlets including Marriott.com, Fairmont.com, AmericanExpress.com, and AAA publications. She is a past editor of Grapevine Today and North Peoria Lifestyle. She is also the past editor and industry consultant for the Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards and continues to contribute to national and regional publications. She is currently an editor and industry consultant for the Reviewed.com Readers' Choice Awards.

She is a member of SATW, NATJA, and IFWTWA, where she serves on the board of directors and is the current conference co-chair for the 2026 and 2027 IFWTWA Annual Professional Development Conference. Susan is also a Certified California Wine Appellation Specialist and Certified Texas Wine Ambassador.

Susan also teaches courses and mentors writers, sharing the craft, business, and strategy of building a successful writing career.
